Florida Water is a cologne; a light effervescent fragrance to be use for scenting the body. Its called Florida Water because ‘florida’ kinda means bountiful flowers… and water refers to the water of life ~ alcohol ;)

Like a lot of colognes that have been around a long time, it has other purposes too. Florida Water is used in cleansing rituals, for warding and protection.

So many beautiful aromatic and cosmetic ingredients are grown in Morocco. This year I’m headed to Kelaat M’Gouna for the rose harvest.

The rose absolute we use in the Patchouli Rose Body Oil (and lotion) comes from Morocco. As does the Argan Oil and Prickly Pear Seed Oil that I use in the Prickly Pear Serum.

The best way to understand a hydrosol if you’re new to them is to think ‘Rose Water’ but with other herbs and flowers.

Hydrosols are distilled to capture the water soluble plant medicine. They are potent, gentle and have many uses.

You can mist directly on the skin anytime, but they are especially helpful at working with your other products to amplify hydration and protection.
